It’s no secret that Democrats and the sewagestream media pounce on every mass shooting. They continue to cover the shootings for days afterwards as part of their push for more and stricter gun control laws up to the banning of all private gun ownership. They continue to use these shootings for months and even years after they happen for their political anti-gun purposes. For instance, after this past weekend’s mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso Texas, I saw one major liberal media news outlet bringing attention to the anti-gun efforts of a man who lost a son at the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, back on February 14, 2018. However, the same liberal news, as well as most others, refuse to give any coverage to the parents, families and students from the high school that continue to support the Second Amendment and oppose most gun control. After all, such fair reporting by the media or Democrats would defeat their anti-gun political agenda.

This political bias on gun violence was further exemplified this week:

First, there was the mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas on Saturday morning. The shooter told police that he intended to kill as many Mexicans as possible, and believe me, El Paso is largely made up of Mexicans, legal and illegal. The rampage has so far accounted for 22 dead and at least 24 injured. Democrats and the media to continue to regurgitate their anti-gun rhetoric, over and over as they beat this story into the ground.

Secondly, on Sunday morning, a gunman opened fire outside a nightclub in Dayton, Ohio. In less than a minute, the shooter killed 9 and wounded 14 others, before being shot and killed by law enforcement officers. Again, the media and Democrats continue to report, report and report on this story, pushing their anti-gun political agenda with almost every report.

I heard one national sewagestream news person point out that both Texas and Ohio are strong Second Amendment states with some of the laxer gun control laws in the nation. This is a point that I’ve also heard used by some Democrats running for office in 2020. They are also quick to point out that the shooters were conservatives or Republicans.

But, did you hear about the rampant gun violence in Chicago over the same weekend as the Dayton and El Paso shootings?

In fact, 7 people were shot and killed another 52 wounded by gun violence in Chicago over the weekend. Most media outlets gave only marginal coverage to the Chicago carnage, but few if any Democrats have bothered to mention the Chicago gun violence. In most of the reports, the media seemed to excuse the Chicago shootings because most of them were related to gang violence, as if that was okay. I just want to mention that the majority of gang members tend to vote Democratic.

Texas and Ohio are in Republican control with gun friendly laws. Illinois on the other hand, is Democrat controlled and Chicago has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Spending as much time and effort reporting the gun violence in Chicago would nullify most of their politically biased reporting on the shootings in Dayton and El Paso. Democrats and the media will repeatedly harp on these 2 shootings taking place in gun friendly states like Ohio and Texas, but for the most part, the same Democrats and media remain fairly silent on the gun violence in anti-gun Democrat controlled Chicago.

Thus you have the obvious political bias when it comes to gun violence!

  1. That is the bias fake media spewing whatever they can to back the demoncrat socialist party. One of these days they will realize that there constitutional rights will be taken away because of the socialist agenda that the lying fake news wants to back.

  2. I believe in the Constitution of the United States as my number one resource. I believe in the right to protect myself, my family and my property.

It would be impossible to remove guns from society…. ie….. we are still working on cocaine, opiates and heroin. Let me know when we no longer have street drugs.

In my younger years I worked for the Sheriff’s Department as a Deputy Sheriff. We received a 911 call at night with a woman pleading for help. A man had followed her home and entered her home. The man had gone to the kitchen to get a knife. The police arrived in approx. one minute as we were nearby. We caught the man running from the scene. He pleaded guilty in a plea bargain. The woman was dead on our arrival. To this day I wish she would have had a gun in her nightstand and gone for it instead of placing the call. The officers that night listened to the recording of the 911 call. And the man had brutally and sexually assaulted her, evidence was everywhere. Deborah was a beautiful woman and that night will always stay with me . Our constitution gives us a right to protect ourselves. No one has the right to take that away.
