Will Trump’s China Trade Truce Impact 2020 Elections? [VIDEO]

When President Donald Trump launched his tariffs on China, many political pundits said that his actions would drastically hurt Trump in the upcoming 2020 elections. The sewagestream media, along with many Democrats instantly jumped at the chance to highlight the American workers impacted by the China tariffs. They painted the picture that millions of American workers would lose nearly everything because of Trump’s tariffs on China and therefore none of the millions of conservative workers that voted for Trump in 2016 would vote for him in 2020.

If find their predictions of gloom and doom over Trump’s China tariffs to be hypocritical. If trade talks were so important to American workers as Democrats and the sewagestream media portray them to be, then why are House Democrats refusing to approve Trump’s new trade deal with Canada and Mexico that would replace NAFTA? Senate Republicans have been ready and waiting to pass the new Canada/Mexico trade deal, but House Democrats are more focused on trying to impeach Trump than doing anything that would benefit the same workers they highlighted during their reporting of the China tariffs.

It just further proves that Democrats care nothing about the American people or helping them. Their socialist anti-American agenda is more important to Democrats than the American people.

The China tariff vote killer that Democrats and the sewagestream media has been touting seems to be crashing down around the Democrats and sewagestream media. Last Friday, it was reported:

President Donald Trump on Friday announced a partial trade deal between the United States and China, saying a “phase one” agreement has been reached aimed at calming more than a year of global economic uncertainty as the world’s two largest economic powers imposed retaliatory tariffs on national goods.

A new round of tariffs Trump had threatened to go into effect this month will be delayed.

“There’s nothing bigger than what we’re doing with China,” Trump said at an Oval Office photo-op with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He. “And we have come to a very substantial phase one deal.”…

The question that needs to be asked now is if the timing of Trump’s announcement about China tariff truce will have an impact on upcoming primary and caucus elections.

The first test will be the Iowa caucus on February 3. Trump won Iowa with a 51.8% vote to Hillary Clinton’s 42.2% vote. Democrats and the sewagestream media have been focusing on Iowa and the impact of Trump’s tariffs on China and how they have hurt many Iowa farmers. What Trump and Republicans need to do in Iowa is to make sure everyone knows about the trade truce and then pound them with the question of why House Democrats are refusing to pass the new Canada/Mexico trade deal.

Eight days after Iowa are the New Hampshire primaries. In 2016, Trump narrowly defeated Clinton 47.6% to 47.2% margin.

Also in February are the Nevada caucus and South Carolina primary, but both are Democrat only.

On March 3 will be the real test with primaries taking place in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia, all of which could be impacted by the news of Trump’s tariff truce with China.
