The Capitol Building

Continuing their false narratives … lies … about insurrections, sedition and coups, the left-wing media has spent the past several weeks reporting on yet another massive violent assault on the Capitol Building predicted for March 4thas if it was a real possibility.

That is the day – according to the media’s conspiracy theory – when former President Trump would be inaugurated as President of the United States.  Thousands of demonstrators and rioters were said to be planning to participate in Washington – and across the nation.

To protect against this massive invasion of insurrectionists, seditionists and coup-plotters, the Biden administration and the leaders of Congress have kept the nation’s capital on military lockdown.

The funds, fences and personnel that could be protecting America’s southern border are being deployed to keep the public away from the halls and malls of Congress.  The constitutional rights of free speech, assembling and petitioning our government has been essentially suspended.

According to media propagandists, the threat to the decorum of Congress – and the lives of our legislators – was so grave that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi cancelled the March 4th sessions of the Senate and the House.  Ponder that for a moment.  With all the critical business on the legislative to-do list, the people’s business had to be put on hold for a day —  no hearings … no debates … no long-winded speeches. (Okay, so the day off is not entirely bad.)

As the sun rose over the Statue of Freedom atop the Capitol Building, what did we see – or more accurately, what did we NOT see?  There were no mobs … no demonstrators carrying placards … no people shouting, “STORM THE CAPITOL!”   No police were being attacked.  No perimeters were being breeched.  No Trump awaiting his swearing-in ceremony.

If you were to put music to the morning scene on Capitol Hill, you might select Edvard Grieg’s “Morgenstimmung.”  If you are not into classical music, you would know it from an endless number of serene cartoon morning scenes.  The point to be made is that the forewarned attack never took place because there never was going to be such an event.  It was not even LESS than expected.  It was nothing.  Nada.  Zilch.

That can also be said for the predicted coordinated riots that were also to arise in communities across the nation.  Nothing occurred – unless you count the ongoing left-wing violence continuing in cities like Portland and Seattle.  Those, however, are intentionally ignored by the New York progressive media cabal.  After all, those only threaten the lives, the property and the enterprises of commoners.

What we saw and heard for the past several weeks was authoritarian elitism at its worst.  The east coast media ginned up yet another bogus conspiracy theory.  They reported on a nonexistent story that they intentionally concocted.

How do I know that they “intentionally” concocted the false reports?  Because the left-wing media did not report what some of the more balanced media did.  The latter news services reported statements by the intelligence and security agencies that they were NOT seeing the kind of chatter and organizational activities that would precede any such events.  It was never going to happen.

Trump was apparently unaware of his inauguration.  As far as I can tell, he never mentioned it.  He did not invite his followers to attend – or to stay away.  He said nothing because there was nothing upon which to comment.

Perhaps by reporting their propaganda, the media thought they could incite some reportable violence somewhere – something that could make their fictional predictions seem rudimentarily real.  The media has often been criticized for promoting and inciting that about which they claim to be only reporting.  But no such luck in this case.

Of course, they had some “splaining “ to do.  Some said that the fencing and presence of the National guard thwarted the insurrectionist’s plans.  That is improbable at best – and does not explain the lack of rioting in other locations.

Others reported that the date of Trump’s inauguration has been delayed.  To when?  January 20, 2024?  This is starting to take on the manner of the repeated “raptures,” where religious zealots gather on mountain tops to be taken into heaven.  One minister on the west coast has organized several such end-of-the-world events.

It is one thing to hype and sensationalize events – which is what the media does routinely, but to hype an event that was never planned is disgraceful.  But such is the way of today’s deeply biased and dishonest media.

So, there ‘tis.
