The Biden administration is stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to immigration. Upon entering the White House, and even before, Biden campaigned on being the opposite of Trump, ending many of his border polices which ensured safety and security.

Biden “succeeded” in pandering to the left on key immigration issues, which inevitably secured his place in the White House.

However, as a crisis on the US-Mexico border unfolds like never before, the Biden administration has a choice to make: maintain a lax, leftist enforcement strategy or increase enforcement and regain security, as Trump did just less than a year ago.

Well, it seems Biden has decided on the former and will not only keep on the same path, but make matters noticeably worse for public safety and national security.

On Thursday, the Biden administration announced new rules that require authorities to only pursue migrants who recently crossed into the country without permission or are deemed to pose a threat to public safety.

The new guidelines replace interim rules issued in February and blocked by a federal judge in August as part of a lawsuit brought by Texas and Louisiana. They break from a more aggressive approach to immigration enforcement under former President Donald Trump, who early in his presidency directed authorities to apprehend anyone who was in the country illegally.

The release comes as President Joe Biden has come under fire from allies for his reliance on a Trump-era public health authority to rapidly expel migrants encountered on the U.S.-Mexico border while also facing Republican criticism that he hasn’t done enough to counter a sharp increase in migrants seeking to enter the country. His administration has expelled at least 5,000 Haitians who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border at Del Rio, Texas, in recent weeks.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told reporters that the new policy was based on the reality that the U.S. can’t go after all people in the country without legal status and shouldn’t try because many “have been contributing members of our communities for years.”

Meanwhile, the ‘reality’ is we have immigration laws in this country. The Biden administration just doesn’t want to enforce them for political reasons.

Authorities will be directed to focus on noncitizens who have crossed recently, defined as after Nov. 1, 2020, or who determined to be a threat because of “serious criminal activity.”

Mayorkas said it makes little sense to pursue all of the estimated 11 million people in the country without legal status, even if the U.S. had the law enforcement capacity to do so.

“They contribute to the well-being of our country and justice requires that we exercise our discretion accordingly,” he said. “The fact that an individual is a removeable non-citizen should not alone be the basis of an enforcement action against them.”

Trump directed ICE and Border Patrol agents to use resources to enforce immigration law – plain and simple. Conversely, Mayorkas and the Biden administration is giving up before the task even begins, claiming the sheer number of illegals is more they can handle, yet they continue to import new ones every day.

  1. Moron Biden swore to protect America from foreign invaders and here he welcoming them across the border, is he really that Stupid ? Treason is what he should be charged with ASAP.

  2. AMERICA NEEDS TO START ALL OVER AGAIN, STARTING WITH TURNING WASHINGTON DC INSIDE OUT, I CAN NOT BELIEVE MAYORKAS SAID THESE ILLEGALS ARE A CONTRIBUTING FACTOR TO THE USA, THEY ARE MOSLY HERE FOR TAX PAYER FREEBIES!!!!

  3. I just wish the U.N. would authorize/pay a nation development company to determine the assets each triangle country has that could be used to provide a passable standard of living so that residents could stay at home. or someone would organize a way for U.S. citizens to make donations to humanitarian organizations. I have never been to the southern border, but it seems like some homeowners are putting a fence around their yards to keep migrants out of their yards. The federal government should help owners who cannot afford it to install a fence.

  4. Employing more border patrol agents and trying to use drones to keep people from crossing the border seems best to me. Trying to round up 11,000,000 people scares me because that reminds me of the Holocaust.

  5. Creepy Old Joe, the first thjng he did was open the BORDER, and allow anyone ,& everyone in
No one knows even where they come from. Lets send the next group of Haitians to OLD JOE’S STATE OF DELAWARE, see how he likes it. Pathetic old fool.

  6. I’ve learned some important things by means of your post. I’d also like to say that there will be a situation where you will apply for a loan and do not need a co-signer such as a Federal Student Support Loan. But when you are getting a loan through a classic creditor then you need to be able to have a cosigner ready to assist you. The lenders are going to base that decision on a few components but the greatest will be your credit history. There are some lenders that will also look at your work history and make up your mind based on this but in almost all cases it will hinge on your score.

  8. I manage a vape store directory site and we have had a posting from a vape shop in the USA that also markets CBD goods. A Calendar month afterwards, PayPal has contacted use to claim that our account has been restricted and have requested us to remove PayPal as a payment method from our vape store directory site. We do not offer CBD products like CBD oil. We only provide advertising and marketing solutions to CBD firms. I have visited Holland & Barrett– the UK’s Well known Health and wellness Store and if you take a good peek, you will see that they offer for sale a somewhat substantial stable of CBD goods, primarily CBD oil and they also happen to take PayPal as a settlement method. It emerges that PayPal is applying twos sets of rules to many different companies. Because of this limitation, I can no longer accept PayPal on my CBD-related web site. This has restricted my payment choices and now, I am intensely reliant on Cryptocurrency payments and straightforward bank transfers. I have gotten in touch with a solicitor from a Magic Circle law firm in The city of london and they said that what PayPal is doing is entirely unlawful and inequitable as it ought to be applying a consistent standard to all firms. I am still to speak to yet another legal representative from a US law firm in London to see what PayPal’s legal position is in the USA. For the time being, I would be highly appreciative if anybody here at targetdomain could provide me with different payment processors/merchants that work with CBD firms.
