As rumors swirl, the Biden-Harris “Feud” escalates and he may decide against supporting Kamala in 2024.

There are rumors that some of Vice President Joe Biden’s supporters have at least considered the possibility of replacing Kamala Harris.

Professor Jason Nichols laments that “we are trapped with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris” in a critical article for Newsweek.

Joe’s was the week’s most popular meme. It seemed like every liberal news outlet participated in a week of harsh criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden, with many even in the President’s own party urging him to promise not to compete for reelection in 2024, Nichols wrote.

This does not mean that Joe Biden’s administration has been a complete success. Despite holding majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, many believe he has failed to gain significant legislative successes or carry out campaign promises. “Voting rights and police reform, two major issues for African Americans, who also happen to be the Democrats’ most devoted and significant voting group, were also not secured by President Biden,” he continued.

In the wake of the Roe v. Wade decision, Nichols stated: “The President also appears impotent in the struggle to defend bodily autonomy and healthcare for women and girls, while Biden’s signature bill, Build Back Better, perished in the Senate, where he couldn’t even garner consensus within his own party. In addition, it’s unlikely that the President will be able to accomplish much in the latter two years of his tenure due to the likelihood that Republicans will seize control of the House of Representatives.

Not everyone is raising red flags about Biden and Harris, including Nichols.

There Has to Be a Backup Plan was the subject of an incendiary New York Magazine article published last month. There is a backup strategy, correct? Gabriel Debenedetti, the author of “Inside the 2024 soul-searching that’s happening in every area of the Democratic Party,” examines how Democrats are coming to a crossroads.

Debenedetti observes that there appears to be a sharp division between Harris and her supporters and Biden and his supporters on one side.
In light of the resurgence of Trumpism, doubts about Biden’s age and political status are being stoked, and his running mate, Vice-President Kamala Harris, is perceived even less favorably than he is. Her net approval rating is currently at a negative 11, according to the Los Angeles Times’ most recent analysis. As a result, there is an odd communication breakdown between the two sections of the Democratic Party.

One group is made up of Biden and his supporters who believe that while the ticket’s statistics are obviously dismal, they are historically expected for a president and vice president facing their first midterm election and will undoubtedly improve. The second group is made up of a sizable portion of the Democratic elite as well as the rank and file. They believe that factors such as age, succession, and strategy have produced a dynamic that has no evident precedent in recent memory.

As one Capitol Hill fan put it, “Biden has to run again because he badly has to keep Trump out of the White House and safeguard our democracy.” And I am certain Kamala Harris will lose.

And this isn’t just some spurious rumor being spread.

A CNN report from late last year said that White House insiders were portraying complete disarray and unhappiness between Biden and Harris.

A major Democratic contributor commented, “Kamala Harris is a leader but is not being put in places to lead.” Instead of placing burdens on her, [Biden] need to set her for success. Giving her the power to take the lead would make you and the party stronger if you did so.

According to one individual who has heard it, that rumor has already reached the highest levels of the Biden orbit, CNN claimed.

Top Democrats in and outside of Washington have reportedly started speculating in private, asking one another why the White House has allowed her to become so marginalized in the public mind, at least in their eyes. Harris became a political target as soon as she was chosen for the ticket by Republicans and right-wing media. Additionally, implicit sexism and racism have persisted.
