(PartiallyPolitics.com) According to an analysis of his travel schedule by the Daily Caller, President Joe Biden who held his 2020 campaigns from this Delaware basement in 2020, has spent a total of 141 days, or 38.6% of 2022 on getaway days. The year 2022 was the president’s first full calendar year in office.

According to the report, President Biden spent his time in the following destinations:

92 days or partial days in Delaware, in one of his properties.

32 days or partial days at Camp David.

7 days in South Carolina.

5 days in Nantucket, Massachusetts.

5 days in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

It is not uncommon for the President to spend time away from the White House, however, Biden’s so far track record shows that he has been away from the White House a lot more frequently than all his predecessors had been.

The White House has maintained that Biden’s time away from the White House is completely normal and that all U.S. presidents spend time with their families away from the White House.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre noted that this is a common practice for Presidents during an answer in August. More importantly, the White House has maintained that even when presidents are not physically at the White House, they still do have work that they do regardless of where they are in the world.

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates argued that being president is a job that requires constant attention “regardless of location.”

Biden recently was blasted for taking a vacation to the Virgin Islands after Christmas during a time when the country was dealing with a deep freeze.
