(PartiallyPolitics.com) House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., has said that the Democrat’s focus and reactions to President Donald Trump’s case regarding the classified documents have widely been politically driven.

These comments came after Richard Sauber, special counsel to President Joe Biden disclosed that in Biden’s personal office at the Penn Biden Center, a few classified documents were discovered by the attorneys that were clearing out the space.

Biden used his office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., from 2017 to 2019. That is the years between his time as Vice President and his election as President. The documents were first discovered on Nov. 2, 2022. As soon as the documents were found they were handed and the Justice Department is now reviewing the documents.

Trump had previously received a lot of criticism for a similar case after the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago estate and recovered a large number of classified documents. McCarthy pointed out that Trump was someone with little experience in politics whereas Biden had over 40 years in office and still he made a mistake regarding the handling of these documents.

He added that this is just further proof that everything they were doing was a political move against Trump. Furthermore, he pointed out that the handling of classified documents from Biden’s time as vice president was “very concerning.”
