(PartiallyPolitics.com) Former President Donald Trump recently laid out all of the questions that he would like to see the new subcommittee answer during their investigation on the weaponization of government agencies, such as the FBI and the Justice Department.

Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday officially released the list of members that will serve in the “Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.” The committee is going to be made up of entirely Republican representatives including Chairman Jim Jordan, Representative Elise Stefanik, Representative Chip Roy, and Representative Thomas Massie.

The Republican-led House earlier this month voted in favor of the creation of the weaponization committee while the Department of Justice continued its investigations into the classified documents found in Trump’s possession in August 2022 as well as their probe into the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Apart from the weaponization committee, another subcommittee on the coronavirus pandemic has also been formed.

McCarthy noted that during the time when the Democrats had control of both chambers in Washington, there was a rise in the government being used in order to target their opposition.

Trump has repeatedly noted that all of the documents in his Mar-a-Lago home had been declassified and that he had not done anything wrong. In a video he posted on Truth Social on Wednesday he also argued that the weaponization of these agencies was the “greatest threat to American freedom in generations.” In the video, he proceeded by listing all of the questions he would like answered. Some of them relate to the Mueller probe while other questions related to “fake news journalists.”
