(PartiallyPolitics.com) Former President Trump released his own pre-taped “real State of the Union.” The two-minute video includes Trump’s views on where he thinks the country is going. Some of the key issues he addressed included the situation at the southern border, immigration, crime, and the economy.

Trump is currently the only GOP contender for the White House in 2024. He announced his third bid for the White House in November after the underwhelming 2022 midterm results. Following the midterm elections many Republicans criticized Biden for backing weak candidates who were unable to win the elections despite winning their primaries.

Biden has not yet announced his own reelection campaign. He had previously beaten Trump in the 2020 election for the Presidency.

Trump in his video argued that it was Biden’s policies that had led to “the worst inflation in half a century.” Trump also called Biden the “most corrupt president in American history” and stated that the policies followed by the President were indoctrinating young children.

He also alleged that Biden’s actions and his handling of the Russia-Ukraine war were close to bringing the world to World War III. However, Trump argued that these were all disasters he would fix even though they were created by Biden.

While Trump is currently the only presidential candidate, many other GOP members are expected to join the race in the coming months. Many GOP donors and lawmakers have also been considering backing other candidates such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
