(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Trump during his first official campaign for the 2024 presidential cycle on Saturday vowed to remove all “thugs and criminals” from the justice system. As he said at the airport tarmac in Waco, Texas when the election ended he was going to be the president of the United States. He added that at that time those “thugs and criminals who are corrupting our justice system will be defeated, discredited, and totally disgraced.”

Trump is currently facing a number of different legal cases and investigations in New York, Georgia, and Washington, D.C. However, he has repeatedly claimed that these cases were a matter of “prosecutorial misconduct” and has been telling his supporters that these are just attempts from his opposition to stop him. He added that their opponents have tried to “crush our spirit and to break our will” but that they have been unsuccessful in all of these attempts. He then proceeded to call 2024 “the final battle” and that when he wins back the White House “America will be a free nation once again.”

Trump’s remarks come only a week after he had claimed that he was going to be arrested in connection to the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s (D) hush money investigation as early as Tuesday. Trump was not correct in these predictions as there has been no decision from the DA on whether or not he will prosecute Trump in this case.
