(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s attorneys have stated that they have completely lost confidence in the investigation into Trump’s involvement and attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. The attorney’s have been critical of the investigation in Georgia after Emily Kohrs, the foreperson for the Georgia special grand jury, started discussing the investigation with media outlets.

Attorney Drew Findling has stated that the investigation process has been compromised. The comments which were made during Findling appearance on CBS News’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday, came in response to Kohrs latest comments about the special grand jury potentially having recommended more than a dozen indictments. Trump’s attorney however has said that these comments make it appear like the members of the grand jury and the prosecuting attorneys failed to keep their position separate. He added that by Kohrs using the word “we” it becomes evident what the relationship between the two is.

This is why he claims that any attempt by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis to charge Trump is now going to be questioned.

He added that the special grand jury is not tasked with litigation as that is the district attorney’s office job, but with Kohrs words, it appears like the connection between the two is blurred.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, who oversaw the special grand jury, has not yet disclosed whether Kohrs took things too far with her media appearances.
