(PartiallyPolitics.com) – In a recent interview with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson, former President Donald Trump discussed a wide range of topics, from his leadership to whether President Biden would be seeking re-election.

The interview which aired on Tuesday is the first sit-down interview that Trump has participated in since his arraignment in New York City last week.

When Carlson asked Trump whether he believed Biden was going to seek a second term in office, Trump stated that he “I watch him just like you do. And I think it’s almost inappropriate for me to say it – I don’t see how it’s possible.”

Biden and his administration have repeatedly stated that the President is going to be seeking a second term but he has not yet officially launched a presidential campaign. During an interview on Monday with NBC meteorologist Al Roker, Biden said, “I plan on running,” but added that “we’re not prepared to announce it yet.”

During the interview, Trump said that he thought Biden was unable to give a clear answer during his interview with Roker so he does not see how he would be able to handle another campaign. He continued to claim that “there’s something wrong” as Biden provided “a long answer about the eggs and this and that — look, I don’t think he can.”

While it is rare for Presidents to not launch reelection bids, there have been occasions in the past when presidents declined reelection bids including Lyndon Johnson, Harry Truman, James Polk, Rutherford Hayes, and James Buchanan.
