(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Friday, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene placed the blame for the death of one of the Capitol riot defendants on President Joe Biden.

On that same day, reports emerged that noted that Capitol riot defendant Nejourde “Jord” Meacham, 22, had died around two weeks earlier following his arraignment on charges connected to his participation in the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack. The news about his death was later confirmed through a local obituary and a Department of Justice filing which cited several passages from the police report about the 22 Utah residents passing.

There have not yet been any details released regarding Meacham’s death, however, among right-wing political circles the idea that he committed suicide has gained traction online. On Friday, Greene, who is one of former President Donald Trump’s biggest supporters, also perpetuated these unfounded claims and stated that Biden and Matthey Graves, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, were to blame for his death. She further claimed that this was the fourth Capitol riot defendant to have committed suicide.

In her post on X, formerly known as Twitter, she specifically stated that this is the fourth suicide Graves was responsible for because of his “extreme persecution” of the Capitol riot defendants. She then claimed that Meacham had only been 19 when he had nonviolently entered the U.S. Capitol and that the Biden communist regime had ruined both hope and justice.

The cause of Meacham’s death remains unknown, however, there have indeed been three other suicides by defendants who participated in the Capitol riot.
