(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Eric Trump, son of former President Donald Trump, argued that the more politicians and the media were trying to block his father’s reelection campaign the more popularity he gained.
During an appearance on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Eric Trump told Maria Bartiromo that all they were managing to do was turn Donald Trump into a “martyr.” He continued by pointing out that there was no one in the world who believed that they had sentenced the 45th president, who was trying to win back the Oval Office, on 34 felony counts for a legal expense that had been made eight years earlier.
Eric Trump also referred to the increase in campaign donations after the guilty verdict on Thursday stating that this was an indication of Americans having gotten mad and wanting to support the person that the system was bamboozling. He added that this is not the first time that they have seen this, as similar fundraising increases had occurred after the first and second impeachment. He pointed out that what they were seeing was that liberal District Attorneys and the Attorney General were being weaponized with the sole intent of bringing Biden down and ruining his reputation. He added that all they were trying to do was divide the Biden family and put the former President in jail.
However, Eric Trump maintained that this was something that all of America could see, especially considering someone like Al Capone only had one felony count, while Trump had 34 for a payment that was made eight years ago.
