(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Wednesday, Australian Home Minister Clare O’Neil referred to Donald Trump Jr. as a “big baby” following a series of now-deleted tweets in which he revealed that his three-day tour across the country was postponed.
In the posts, O’Neil criticized Trump Jr., for his claims, adding that the former President’s son had been given a visa to visit the country, but that he was simply not a popular personality in Australia. As she argued he never got canceled, he is just a “sore loser” and a “big baby.”
In one of his deleted tweets, Trump alleged that the Australian government had attempted to reduce his ticket sales, which ultimately led to the tour which was promoted by Turning Point Australia being canceled. In their post, Turning Point Australia added that it appears that the U.S. is not the only country that is trying to make things hard for members of the family.
The tour was meant to run from July 9-11 and as of right now it has not yet been canceled, only postponed. The conservative organization even pushed for ticket holders to hold on to their tickets as this was only a “short delay.”
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also reportedly stated that the country’s government was not in any way involved with Trump’s change of plans. He added that Trump Jr.’s visa has been handled normally and that he was able to visit the country. He added that his choice not to come to Australia was entirely his own.
