(PartiallyPolitics.com) – It has been over 24 hours since the Saturday attack launched by Iranian-backed terrorist group Hamas against Israel and two former presidents of the United States have not issued a statement.
As of Sunday, both former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had not put out a statement in connection with the attack. Their foundations have also not released a statement, with their personal accounts also having remained silent.
While former President Clinton may not have released a statement, his wife did release one on Sunday evening expressing condolences for everyone affected by the attacks. She added that the United States was going to continue standing strong in support of Israel, which has been a long-time ally.
Neither former President Obama nor his wife have made any statements or posts about the attack. The Obama Foundation has also remained quiet in the life of recent events.
Conservative author Dinesh D’Souza took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to question why Obama had not posted anything about the attack. HE argued that it was possible that he was indifferent to what he had done. D’Souza further alleged that Obama had given Iran millions of dollars which is why he could currently be celebrating for his contribution to the attacks.
Republican former Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump have issued statements condemning the attacks. Trump who is currently the frontrunner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary race, has managed to maintain a positive relationship with Israel during his time in office. In reference to the attack, he stated it was a “disgrace” and argued that the country had the right to use “overwhelming force” in its defense.
