(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Houston’s ‘Mattress Mack,’ as business owner Jim McIngvale has stated that he will be covering the expenses for 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray who had been murdered and left in a creek dead. The funeral is going to be held on Thursday.

The little girl was allegedly killed by two illegal immigrants.

The businessman is handling the bill for the funeral and celebration of Nungaray’s life which will take place in one of his Gallery Furniture locations. Last week, the girl had been strangled to death. Local officials had expressed anger and shock following the revelation of the crime and had questioned the Biden administration border policy.

Following the June 16 attack, two illegal immigrants from Venezuela, 26-year-old Franklin Jose Peña Ramos and 22-year-old Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 22, and 26 were charged with capital murder. According to the reports from the authorities the two had lured her under the bridge before murdering her and leaving her there.

McIngvale in a statement to Fox News Digital noted that the girl would have gone to the same high school as the one his children graduated from if she had not died. He added that regardless of how people feel about immigrants, had they not been there she would not have been murdered.

At the time of the murder, Ramos had been wearing an ankle monitor from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE). In the past few weeks, there have been a series of crimes across the country involving illegal migrants.

The two men have had their bail set at $10 million.
