(PartiallyPolitics.com) – The terror organization Hamas has vowed that the Israeli hostages that have been captured were going to be killed without any warning if the Israeli armed forces target Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

The audio message from Abu Obeida, the Hamas spokesperson, was released on Monday. The group is currently governing Gaza but it is considered by the United States to be a terrorist group. On Saturday the group launched a number of coordinated attacks by firing rockets and allowing their troops to enter Israel. During the attack, they killed hundreds of Israelis while also taking many of them hostage.

Following the attack Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen warned that should any of the civilians captured be harmed then this would be considered an unforgivable war crime. Israel in retaliation launched hundreds of strikes on Gaza which have also killed hundreds of Palestinians.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have stated that they have hit over 1,2000 targets in Gaza in the two days since the attack. In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the IDF also stated that they were conducting “one of the largest air strikes” against Hamas in order to destroy them and block their ability to terrorize the Israeli people again. They added that this is a war launched by Hamas and they were working to restore their country’s security.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated following the attacks that the country was at “war” and that his country’s forces would exact a “huge price” from the terrorist group following the attack.
