Pelosi And Newsom Team Up To Bring Down GOP

(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Monday, Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) slammed the GOP presidential candidates for their position on the economy ahead of the second primary debate for their party which to took place in California on Wednesday.

Newsom during a call with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) said that he believes when one looks at the next Republican debate they will be able to view the main differences between the two political parties. He further stated that the differences are as stark as “daylight and darkness.”

Pelosi, on the other hand, said that the “MAGA-nomics” were going to be disastrous for American families, and slammed the Republican candidates for backing Trump-era tax cuts, which she referred to as a “tax scam that gave handouts to the rich and corporations.”

Both Democrats said that the debate, which was held in Simi Valley, Calif., were happy that it focused on the economy.

Specifically, Pelosi called out entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Sen. Tim Scott (S.C.), and other Republican candidates on their stance regarding entitlement programs, such as Medicare and Social Security, as well as on the Inflation Reduction Act and tax cuts.

Former President Donald Trump who would qualify to participate in the second presidential debate has announced that he didn’t attend the debate  and delivered a speech in Michigan instead.
