(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Friday during a GOP fundraising event in New Hampshire, two protesters ran on the stage Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) while he was giving a speech.

The organization is responsible for the protest and has called DeSantis antisemitic as he is potentially preparing for a 2024 presidential campaign. The two women who made it onto the stage were shouting “Jews against DeSantis” before being escorted out.

In response DeSantis claimed that the two women needed to add “a little spice in speech” they made.

DeSantis was headlining the Amos Tuck Dinner, an important fundraising event for the New Hampshire Republican party. The governor has also been traveling to multiple states ahead of what many expect to be the announcement of his presidential campaign intentions. On Thursday he also attended a GOP fundraiser in Ohio, while a day later he was at an event at Liberty University in Virginia.

The organization IfNotnow, which the two women belonged to, is an organization of American Jews who are protesting the Israeli government’s behavior towards the Palestinians. The group has called DeSantis an antisemite for not denouncing white supremacist supporters and other Christian nationalists.

DeSantis has not yet made any official announcements about his 2024 intentions. Both Trump and DeSantis-aligned super PACs have repeatedly attacked one another as well as other candidates who have joined the GOP primary race.
