( – On Tuesday, Stormy Daniels’ husband, Barrett Blade, a fellow adult film star, said the couple would likely leave the U.S. if former President Donald Trump is found not guilty in the unprecedented hush-money case.

Blade made the remarks while speaking to CNN’s Erin Burnett, suggesting that if “Trump is found not guilty,” he didn’t believe things would get “better” for his wife, explaining the couple would need to determine what they would do but there was a “good chance” they’d “vacate this country.”

Blade suggested that in the alternative, Daniels would still be subject to “hate,” explaining Trump’s supporters would blame her for being the reason the former President was convicted.

He added that there wasn’t a “win situation” regardless of the outcome of the trial but insisted his wife only wanted to “move past this.”

Last week, Daniels took the stand and gave an extremely descriptive account of the alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006.

In media reports, Daniels was described as making jokes, talking fast, and elaborating past the point of answering the question. At one point during her testimony, Judge Juan Merchan told prosecutors Daniels was going into “unnecessary” detail.

Trump is currently on trial for allegedly reimbursing his former attorney Michael Cohen a $130,000 payment made to Daniels in exchange for her silence about an alleged sexual encounter she had with Trump in 2006, something Trump has repeatedly denied.

The case centers around Trump allegedly falsifying business records to cover the 6-figure payment to Cohen as a business expense.
