(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Donald Trump’s attorney Alina Habba stated during an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that she was expecting that in the next few weeks, there would be another indictment filed against Trump.
The indictment in question would be the result of the investigation led by Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis in Fulton County. As she pointed out, if one looks at the current situation, with Willis having her PR take new photos of her and the barricades, it becomes pretty clear that there is going to be another indictment by a “corrupt” DA in the coming weeks.
The Fulton County grand jury has not yet made a decision on whether or not Trump should be indicted in connection to his alleged efforts to overturn the state election results so that he was the winner of the 2020 presidential election and not President Biden. The state’s investigation has been ongoing for more than two-and-a-half years.
Last week Willis spoke about the indictment stating that they were “ready” for the decision to be made.
Bartiromo asked Habba what Trump’s response was to all the legal cases against him right now. Habba in response stated that Trump expressed this perfectly outside the court of his arraignment in the case relating to his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack. This is not how the U.S. is, and it is not normal for the opposing party to be fighting their opponents in this way because they are unable to win on policy and issues. She added that everything in the country was going badly, including the pandemic, drugs, and the border, which was why they were arresting Trump as a way of distracting from the corruption in the Biden administration.
She added that the continuous legal attempts against Trump were further proof of how strong he was and are an indication that he was the one leading the 2024 Republican presidential primary.
