(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Monday former President Donald Trump slammed New York Judge Juan Merchan who is handling his criminal case regarding the falsification of business documents after he allowed Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen to spend hours on the witness stand.

As he left the courtroom Trump had been asked about the Congress members that had joined him in support at the courtroom. On Monday Sens. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) and JD Vance (R-Ohio) had both joined Trump.

In response, Trump pointed out that they believe it is a terrible thing that is occurring in this country’s democracy. He added that many Congress members want to come, but that he has guided them to stay back and instead focus on passing laws that would stop this situation from happening again.

Trump also used this moment to read from a document for around five minutes, which included the Republican lawmakers and other public figures’ commentary over the case or comments in defense of the former President in this case. Among those included were Fox News host Mark Levin, Washington Post columnist Marc Thiessen, and Vance.

Trump pointed out that this was a “sad day” for New York and the country as they had a “corrupt judge” who is very conflicted and is blocking him from actively campaigning in the 2024 election. He then pointed out that this was an appointed New York judge.

On Monday during Cohen’s testimony, Trump had been making edits to the document and deleting and adding sections.
