(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Tuesday, former President Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to post several times about the Department of Justice’s probes into his conduct only days after his lawyers had a meeting with prosecutors.

In his posts, Trump once again reiterated that he was politically targeted and made some misleading comparisons between his and President Biden’s case related to handling classified documents. In one of the posts, he stated that “The Marxists and Fascists in the DOJ & FBI” were pursuing him with the type of fervor that had never been seen in the country before. He proceeded to argue that he had done nothing wrong. He then added that Biden had retained thousands of documents in several different locations from his time as Senator, many of which were classified. He concluded by stating that Biden is refusing to give those documents back and yet nothing has happened to him.

He also pointed out that former Vice President Mike Pence had also been exonerated by that same prosecutor, while he had a “Trump hater” prosecutor going against him.

Trump’s case is being handled by Jack Smith, a DOJ special counsel, who is looking into Trump’s handling of classified materials following the FBI raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate which resulted in the recovery of the documents that he had previously refused to hand over to the National Archives following their request. Trump was indicted on June 8.

A separate special counsel was investigating the case related to the classified materials found in Biden’s Wilmington, Del., home and an old Washington, D.C., office. The documents date back to his time serving as Vice President and some documents were even noted to have been from his time in the Senate. Biden’s team had immediately alerted federal officials after the documents were discovered and were quick to return the documents.

Last week, the Justice Department also cleared Pence who had also found a small number of classified documents in his Indiana home in January.
