(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Friday, Anthony Scaramucci, the former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci slammed his former boss, Donald Trump, for repeatedly lying during the first presidential debate. However, he claimed the lies that former President Donald Trump was stating “every 100 seconds” had been overshadowed by the poor performance displayed by President Joe Biden.
On Friday evening, Scaramucci joined CNN’s Kaitlan Collins to discuss his most recent book and the presidential debate. As he argued Trump had lied around “every 100 seconds” if something factors everything he said. He added that the biggest issue with the former President’s performance was that it was a “split screen.” He noted that Biden had not been informed that he needed to look alert and down the camera barrel which resulted in him appearing very distracted.
He further pointed out that Biden had appeared a bit off regardless of what Trump was saying, and that he believed the majority of people had been focused on the physical features of what was happening.
Scaramucci’s most recent book also includes a counter of lies, and as he claimed he has counted over 30,450 lies, which is why it is nothing new to have Trump lying and perpetuating false information on stage. He added that Trump was going to lie and that currently, the question is how Biden, who is remaining in the race, is going to position himself in order to prove to the American public that he is capable of performing the job.
Democrats have expressed increased concerns regarding Biden’s poor performance, with some even calling for him to step aside and allow someone else to run against Trump.
