(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Thursday night, Donald Trump accepted the GOP’s presidential nomination.
In his address to accept the Republican Party’s presidential nomination, Trump promised that if Americans voted for him, he’d “strive to honor the trust” they’d place in him and “will never let you down.”
Trump also shared that as long as the Americans’ “energies are spent fighting each other,” the nation’s destiny would be “out of reach.”
Instead, he called for Americans to “take that energy” and “realize our country’s true potential,” with it, writing a “thrilling chapter” in America’s Story.
Trump requested Americans support and partner with him, as he “humbly” asked them to vote for him in the upcoming election. He added that if voted into the Presidency, he’d “strive” every day “to honor” their trust and wouldn’t let them down.
Trump declared he wouldn’t forget “all of the forgotten men and women” who had been “abandoned,” “left behind,” and “neglected.” Instead, he insisted that “together, we will win.”
The former President asserted that “Nothing” would sway them or slow them down, regardless of the “dangers” that face them or the “obstacles” in their path; in unity, Americans would strive toward a “glorious” “shared… destiny” and “would not fail.”
“Together, we will save this country,” Trump added, promising to “usher in” richer and “wonderful tomorrows” that the American people “truly deserve.”
He declared that with him at the helm, the future of America would be “bolder, brighter, happier, stronger, freer, greater, and more united” than it has ever been.
