(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Donald Trump is expected to be indicted again in a different federal case concerning his alleged role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack.
In a recent post on Truth Social Trump stated that if he ends up being indicted in this case then he was going to have “fun on the stand” while talking with all those who did not believe that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and rigged. He then proceeded to say that it would be “THE TRIAL OF THE CENTURY!!!”
Trump is the frontrunner in the 2024 Republican presidential primary and is widely expected to be able to win the race as he is currently leading by a large margin. In his latest Truth Social post, he once again alleged that the cases being brought against him were an attempt to election interference, while also uploading a 10-second video of himself in which he called his prosecution the “single greatest witch hunt” in history.
In a different post, he included a 40-second video in which he argued that President Biden was weaponizing the FBI and the Department of Justice and that his practice was going to damage the nation’s democracy. He added that the only reason why he was being attacked is because he is leading by a rather large margin against Florida’s Ron DeSantis in the polls. He further noted that he was also winning against Biden in the polls and that had that not been the case then they would not have been prosecuting him.
