(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Donald Trump on Monday morning slammed “The Quinnipiac” and Fox News Poll for their finding that Biden is leading in the 2024 presidential race.
Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to state that the poll was not only old but also “BAD.” As he claims the Republicans were under-sampled by around 10 points, which is the only reason why the poll published on Wednesday found that Biden was leading by four points in a hypothetical matchup for 2024. Trump proceeded to argue that this means that he is not four points below Biden but rather he is six points above him.
The poll found that Biden had received 48 percent of support while Trump had received 44 percent. Trump proceeded to argue that in every other poll, the results were vastly different and that his percentages are much higher than 44 percent. He also slammed Fox News stating that they were always trying to show the negatives on MAGA & Trump and that currently he was “winning BIG” which is something that they do not like.
He also noted that his success is something that the RINOS (Republicans in Name Only), Democrats, Marxists, and Communists did not like.
Wednesday’s poll found that Biden’s rate of support had remained the same since the last Quinnipiac poll in late May, while the support for Trump had dropped by 2 points. However, an Ipsos/ABC News poll published a few days earlier found that 47 percent of Americans believed that the federal indictment against Trump was politically motivated, which would imply that there should not be an effect on Trump’s position in the presidential election.
