(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Trump stated that the decision to attack presidential political opponents would have consequences. This statement was made on Monday after Trump vowed that the “seal” for attacking your political opposition had now been broken.

Trump is preparing to head to court on Tuesday following his unprecedented federal indictment on Thursday. Taking to his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated that apart from securing the border, and “removing all of the ‘criminal’ elements” that had come into the country illegally, he would also be appointing a special prosecutor that would be tasked with going after Biden. He also added that Biden was the “most corrupt” U.S. president in history and that he would not only go after him but also after his family and everyone else who was involved with the “destruction” of the country, including its election and borders.

Trump defenders have recently praised his administration for refusing to prosecute his political opponents, despite some claiming the opposite in regards to both former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and then-2020 presidential candidate Biden.

Trump’s former personal attorney Rudy Giuliani slammed special counsel Jack Smith’s claims on Friday following the announcement of the indictment, adding that the law should apply “equally to everyone.” Giuliani specifically told Newsmax’s “Saturday Report” that this was the “most ridiculous, idiotic statement” to be made on the same day that it was revealed that Biden had accepted a “$10 million bribe from a Ukrainian Mykola Zlochevsky.” Giuliani added that this was something she could have told the Department of Justice three years ago and that they could have looked into some of the evidence that she had provided, but had chosen not to.
