(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump posted a video on his social media platform, Truth Social, thanking all those who peacefully protested his arraignment outside the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. U.S. Courthouse in Miami.

In the video, he thanked all those individuals who had supported him during his arraignment on 37 charges relating to his alleged mishandling of classified documents after he left the White House in 2021. He specifically expressed thanks to all those belonging to the Hispanic community, including those from Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua who had attended the demonstrations. He proceeded to state that it was “heartwarming” to see all the love and support from the people of Miami.

During his arraignment, Trump pleaded not guilty to all 37 charges, 31 of which relate to violations of the Espionage Act. The charges against Trump range from retaining sensitive documents that contain information about the country’s military capabilities and weakness, to its nuclear programs and a Pentagon “attack plan.”

Trump, who had lost Miami-Dade County by close to 30 percentage points in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, managed to gain support in the area during his presidency. In 2020 when he faced President Joe Biden, he only lost the county by eight points. Now he is working towards his third bid at the White House.

However, in his third bid, he is not only competing against the Democrats but also, he will have to win the area in the 2024 Republican primary contender against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
