FBI Still Arresting Americans Over Jan 6th?

(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On the third anniversary of the January 6, 2021, disturbances at the United States Capitol, the FBI announced the apprehension of three individuals. These arrests occurred at a ranch located in Groveland, Florida, within Lake County. The individuals taken into custody were named as Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III.

Their scheduled appearance is set for Monday in the Federal Court situated in Ocala, Florida. The FBI, however, has not disclosed further specifics regarding their apprehension.

This event adds to a significant number of legal actions connected to the Capitol events. Over 1,230 individuals have faced federal charges related to the incident. These charges encompass a range of offenses, including assaulting law enforcement officers and engaging in seditious conspiracy. To date, approximately 730 individuals have entered guilty pleas, while around 170 have been found guilty on at least one charge through either a judge’s decision or a jury trial.

The federal courthouse in Washington continues to be inundated with related legal proceedings, including trials, plea hearings, and sentencing. This situation underscores the unprecedented scale of the investigation surrounding these events, marking it as one of the most extensive in the history of the United States.

In parallel, efforts are ongoing to identify more than 80 individuals suspected of violent acts at the Capitol. Additionally, investigations are still active to uncover the individuals responsible for placing pipe bombs near the offices of both the Republican and Democratic national committees on the eve of the Capitol unrest.
