(PartiallyPolitics.com) – GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley has put out a new ad where she is targeting the former President which is set to air in South Carolina, her home state.
Haley was the runner-up in the New Hampshire primary. In one of the ad pitches Haley is attacking President Biden as being “too old” while she accuses former President Donald Trump of “too much chaos.” She also pointed out that no one wanted to have another rematch between the two men.
The ad continues by arguing that there is a better choice for America. This is where she starts to present herself as the youngest governor in U.S. history. In a different clip, she focuses on her record as the governor of South Carolina.
Haley’s campaign has announced that the $4 million ad buy is going to be airing across the state.
On Tuesday, Haley landed in second place in New Hampshire, being separated by former President Donald Trump by around 11 points. Haley has pointed out that “this race is far from over” and noted that the next primary is scheduled for Feb. 24 in South Carolina and there is still Super Tuesday coming up in March.
Haley and Trump are currently in a one-on-one contest as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy have both withdrawn from the presidential race.
Haley is currently facing a lot of pressure to continue to build her momentum, as Trump still has a lead in the national polls.
Haley campaign spokesperson Olivia Perez-Cubas has pointed out that when Haley ran in South Carolina’s gubernatorial election she had taken on “the political elites” which is something that she is still willing to do.
