(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Sunday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) dismissed the comments made by former President Donald Trump a day earlier when he had alleged that illegal immigrants entering the United States were “poisoning the blood” of the United States.

During a recent interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker, Graham argued that he did not care at all about the language that was being used by Trump. Trump’s comments about illegal immigration had come during a new rally in New Hampshire. However, Graham was quick to dismiss these comments and pointed out that the majority of Americans were concerned about immigration and the situation at the border.

Graham argued during his appearance on NBC with host Kristen Welker that he did not have any response to the comments made by Trump. He further argued that the majority of Americans were worried about the immigration crisis. However, as he pointed out he was not concerned about the language being used, but rather his concerns were regarding the outcome. As he pointed out Trump was right in that during his administration, border security had been more secure under Trump than it had been in forty years.

Graham added that while the Biden administration was focused on what language Trump was using, they were allowed for the country to be invaded. He added that through the southern border, 172 people who were on a terrorist list have been able to enter the country. He further pointed out that this had also led to the United States being filled with more fentanyl.
