(PartiallyPolitics.com) – President Biden stated recently that he was aware that not everyone was feeling enthusiastic. He added that the other day there was a man that had approached him that had looked defeated. As he shared, the man had been crushed by debt and was completely wiped out.
However, Biden joked that he was not able to help “Donald.” This joke was made during a Houston campaign reception. Right before his comment on Trump, Biden had been pointing out that the press did not cover the positive polls for him, or any of the five national polls that showed that he was leading in the race against Trump.
Biden argued that he liked his press and that they did not talk much. Still, as he pointed out since his State of the Union address he was leading in Five national polls.
Last year former President Donald Trump had been found liable to pay close to half a billion dollars in a civil fraud case. On Thursday the former President’s legal team claimed that they were not able to secure the necessary bond in order to stop the court from trying to seize Trump’s assets. This was after the court determined that Trump had conspired to change his net worth and the value of his assets in order to benefit from better terms from insurance companies and taxes. On Monday, they noted in a filing that it was nearly impossible to get a bond for such a large amount.
