(PartiallyPolitics.com) – President Biden appears to be ready to benefit from many undisclosed donations from the main super PAC that is supporting his 2024 reelection campaign.
Biden’s campaign team has pointed to the Future Forward PAC as the leading group that is fundraising to help Biden’s campaign. In July a report by The New York Times showed that Future Forward had claimed to have raised $50 million within 2023.
According to records that money is most likely connected with Future Forward USA Action, its dark money affiliate nonprofit. The Future Forward PAC had stated in the first half of the year that they had received $67,000 in contributions.
However, in the past few years, Future Forward’s nonprofit which does not disclose its donors has given millions of dollars to the PAC in support of their electoral activity. This could potentially mean that Biden’s campaign is going to soon receive a big boost from anonymous benefactors who are looking to support his reelection campaign.
Americans for Public Trust executive director Caitlin Sutherland pointed out the irony of President Biden who had once claimed that “dark money erodes public trust” being boosted by millions of dollars in dark money. She argued that this was the type of hypocrisy that the American people did not like to see
She added that given everything that has been discovered regarding foreign dark money funding the political network of the left, there are many questions to be asked about the money that is supporting and potentially influencing President Biden’s reelection campaign.
