(PartiallyPolitics.com) – The response to the Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel by President Biden has shown the big difference between his leadership style and approach to foreign policy when compared to former President Donald Trump.

Following the attack which resulted in over 1,000 Israelis losing their lives, Biden was vocal about his full support of Israel which has led to him receiving praise from members of both parties. Many Democrats have also pointed out that following the attacks Trump became critical of Israeli leadership, while Biden showed empathy towards those affected. As they point out Biden’s handling of the recent events is going to be remembered in the following months.

One source close to the Biden campaign has pointed out that the Hamas terrorist attack has shown the importance of empathy and experience in the White House. As they noted Trump has slammed Israel while praising Hezbollah which just works as a reminder of his dangerous and out-of-touch approach following the tragedy. They added that this will be something that Americans are going to remember in the 2024 presidential election.

Republicans have also praised the Biden administration over their handling of the conflict in the Middle East. Similarly, the Republican Jewish Coalition told The New York Times that the administration had shown their full support for Israel during this time.

On Thursday, Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) argued that this was not the time to criticize the Biden administration and instead that lawmakers should instead focus on showing their full support for Israel. He added that while there were things he disagreed with the Biden administration on, this was not the time for criticism, this was the time to stand united with the United States.
