(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Wednesday, James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee got the attention of the White House after revealing that the 2019 bank transfers from China were addressed to Joe Biden’s Delaware home.

Ian Sams, the White House legal counsel spokesman stated that the Extreme House GOP was perpetuating conspiracy theories and making innuendos without actually having any evidence that President Joe Biden was involved in any wrongdoings. HE added that these are not just discredited attacks against Biden and his family, but also an attempt to distract the American public from noticing their inability to effectively rule which has led to the government potentially facing a shutdown at the end of this month.

On Tuesday, Sams did not directly address the facts included in the news release issued by Comer and instead just claimed that the House GOP was the reason for the possibility of a government shutdown nearing.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday he also called for people to imagine advocating that for someone who during the pandemic stayed with their parents and received a paycheck at that address, which was their permanent address at the time, the paycheck was evidence that the parents had also worked for the employer.

On Thursday the House is set to have the first impeachment inquiry hearing in which three witnesses will be called to speak. These are Department of Justice Tax Division former assistant attorney general Eileen O’Connor, George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley, and forensic accounting expert witness Bruce Dubinsky.

On Tuesday in his statement, Comer argued that “Bank records don’t lie”  but that Biden had. He added that in 2020 Joe Biden had claimed that his family had never received any funds from China, but that this has already been proved to be a lie from the two wires that listed Biden’s Wilmington Home as the address of the beneficiary.
