(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Sunday, another busload of migrants arrived in Washington, D.C., and were dropped off near Vice President Kamala Harris’s home. Washington journalist Christian Flores took to Twitter to state that the bus full of migrants had arrived at the Naval Observatory close to the home of Vice President Harris. He proceeded to state that Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s busing operation was back on following the expiration of Title 42.

On Thursday Title 42, a pandemic-era health order that allowed for the faster expulsion of immigrants without having to go through the normal asylum process expired. A local ABC news station also took to Twitter to share a video of the migrants coming off the bus and picking up their belongings from the storage area.

The Texas Governor first started his busing operations last year in an attempt to increase the attention being paid to the U.S.-Mexico border. While he first started sending buses to the nation’s capital in April 2022 as a means of pushing the Biden administration to do something about the situation at the border.

Since then, he sent buses full of migrants to the Naval Observatory in September and October, and on Christmas 2022 he sent a bus full of migrants exactly outside of Harris’ home.

In 2021, President Biden put Harris in charge of addressing the “root causes” of the immigration crisis. The Republicans have been calling her the “border czar” a title that the White House has opposed.

According to the latest CBS News report on Thursday following the expiration of the health order, there were close to 60,000 migrants waiting at the U.S.-Mexico border near El Paso, Texas.
