(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Wednesday, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss with community notes about her voting record. In her post, she claimed that the account “@CommunityNote” was dumb and that if they actually went to look at her voting record they would notice that she had voted for the PACT, WRDA, and NDAA Act. She added that she had always delivered for the lowcountry and would always do so in the future.

This remark had come in response to the community notes in a post on X had included a graphic that had a caption that read: “$517,618,000 authorized or appropriated for SC-01.” Community notes give selected users the option to add context to certain posts and highlight that Mace is trying to get credit for the appropriations bills even though she had voted against them.

The community note is connected to the House clerk’s website which shows that Macy had opposed the $1.2 trillion funding package which would have funded several measures for Homeland Security, election security, and Defense.

Mace in a statement regarding her vote had argued that this bill was a “slap in the face” of hardworking Lowcountry taxpayers as well as Americans across the country. She added that this was a byproduct of the House’s failed leadership. She further claimed that the bill had been rushed and passed through Congress and that the American people deserved better than such deals and appropriations that would be funding the left political agenda.
