(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Axios in a new report noted that a possible second Trump administration could use the information gathered by House investigators in an investigation into President Joe Biden and his family.

The House GOP has launched an investigation into the business practices and dealings of Hunter Biden after allegations emerged that his father, Joe Biden had been influence peddling during his time as vice president.

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) who is the chairman of the House Oversight Committee invited Biden last month to give his testimony before Congress as part of the impeachment inquiry into the Biden family’s business dealings. However, it is not yet clear whether there is enough evidence for Biden to be impeached. Despite this, it is expected that the probes could help former President Donald Trump with his reelection campaign for November.

A source that is close to the former President’s campaign has told Axios that people can expect to see from the Trump Department of Justice all the same actions that the Biden Department of Justice has taken.

Previously Trump has slammed the Biden administration arguing that they were weaponizing the government. He is currently facing a total of four criminal cases, two of which revolve around his attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. One more federal case against him is dealing with his alleged mishandling of classified documents, while the final criminal case relates to the hush money payment he had made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election in an attempt to keep her quiet about their alleged affair.
