(PartiallyPolitics.com) – On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump introduced “God Bless USA” Bibles for sale, a venture he is undertaking with country singer Lee Greenwood in anticipation of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Trump expressed in a video on his Truth Social platform that the absence of religion and Christianity is a significant shortfall in the United States, one that must be urgently addressed to rectify the nation’s direction. He voiced his opinion that the decline of religious influence is a core issue leading to societal problems.

Trump emphasized the importance of owning a Bible, claiming it as his preferred book, and mentioned that he has numerous copies ready for distribution. He asserted the need to reintegrate Christianity into American life to restore the country’s greatness.

Priced at $60, the Bible being sold is a King James Version that incorporates the lyrics of Greenwood’s patriotic anthem “God Bless the U.S.A.,” along with foundational American documents like the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance.

He praised the nation’s founders for their role in establishing America on Judeo-Christian principles, which he believes are currently under threat. Trump advocated for the purchase of this Bible to support prayer in America, highlighting the perceived challenges faced by Christians today, emphasizing the need to defend pro-God content.

The sales website for the Bible notes that it features large print, making it suitable for various activities, including church, Bible study, work, or travel.

Trump’s collaboration with Greenwood is not new, as “God Bless the U.S.A.” has been a prominent anthem at Trump’s rallies and during White House events in his term.

This Bible adds to a range of merchandise Trump has marketed over the years, with recent offerings like a line of expensive sneakers. Despite his personal controversies and infrequent public discussions of faith, Trump continues to garner support from religious segments of the Republican base.
