(PartiallyPolitics.com) – The Daily Mail reported that according to a recent J.L. Partners poll former President Donald Trump is favored in a number of areas when compared to President Joe Biden.

According to the findings, 56 percent of the 1,005 likely voters surveyed stated that they were more confident in how Trump would handle a nuclear emergency, while only 45 percent argued that they trusted Biden more to make critical decisions. What’s more, only 43 percent stated that they would trust Biden over Trump in a hypothetical meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In contrast 65 percent argued that they would trust Trump more. Significantly, when it came to independent voters only 37 percent believed that Biden would be able to have a one-hour meeting with Putin that would be effective.

These are not the only areas where Trump appeared to be pulling ahead as more people believe that Trump is likely to remember the names of world leaders, and key staff as well as on being able to absorb everything that he is told in a national security briefing.

J.L. Partners co-founder James Johnson has suggested regarding this perception of the American public that it does not stem from the age of the two candidates as Biden is 81 and Trump is 77, only around 3 years younger, but rather from the perceived vitality of the two candidates. As he pointed out, the majority of people believe that Trump would be better at handling the pressure that comes with the White House than Biden would be at this stage.

He pointed out that in part this is because of the way that Trump presents, as he appears to be stronger physically and thus more able to complete things than Biden. He added that these are all positives in voters’ minds relating to Trump.
