(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former Representative Liz Cheney’s new book, which is set to be released on December 5, is currently a number-one bestseller on Amazon. However, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene’s new book, MTG, has been dropping low on that same list.

Oath and Honor is the newest book by a former Wyoming Republican who served as the House Republican Conference chair and who lost her re-election bid in 2022. Following the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack, Cheney has become one of the biggest critics of former President Donald Trump.

Cheney has also frequently slammed Greene and the hard-right faction of the Republican Party. In her new book, she refers to the Republican Party’s “cowardice” regarding the Capitol attack and points out that many of them were still willing to support Trump, who she referred to as the “most dangerous man” to sit in the Oval Office ever.

Cheney’s book provides an in-depth look at her estrangement from the party and the former President following the Capitol riot. In a statement in April, Cheney had noted that there was one thing that the last two years had made clear and that was that the “constitutional republic is not self-sustaining.”

She continued to say that the only reason the republic was surviving was because of the courage and honor shown by individual Americans.  She added that there would be a point in time when each elected official would be called to answer the question of whether or not they had kept their oath to the office and had done their duty.
