(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Jonathan Karl’s new book “Tired of Winning: Donald Trump and the End of the Grand Ole Party,” which was released on Tuesday includes a segment that details how former President Donald Trump had seriously considered a fringe conspiracy that would have allowed Trump to be reinstated in the White House after the 2020 presidential election which he had lost.

In the book, Karl stated that there had been many details that allowed Trump to start believing the theory which had also gained the support of some of Trump’s most vocal supporters, including Mike Lindell the My Pillow CEO who had argued that Trump would return to the Oval Office on Aug. 13, 2021.

The theory which has no evidence supporting it is connected to QAnon and claims falsely that as President Biden is supposedly not the U.S. president, the U.S. military is in control of the party until the return of former President Trump in office.

In 2021 during an interview with Trump, Karl had asked him whether he really believed there was a way for him to be reinstated before the next presidential election.
Trump stated according to ABC News that he would not provide an explanation for this, as Karl would not understand it and he would not report on it.

The idea was not supported by any law, and some Trump supporters stopped supporting this idea. Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) for example had been booed during his run for the Senate for suggesting that they needed to leave the 2020 election to the past.
