(PartiallyPolitics.com) – This week Hunter Biden visited Capitol Hill which could serve as an indication of the approach that Hunter Biden was going to take when dealing with the Republican investigation into his business dealings.

In the last month, Hunter had made two visits to Capitol Hill showing that he was ready to defend himself without needing to coordinate with the White House.

White House officials have noted that they were not previously informed about Hunter Biden’s intention to appear at the House Oversight and Accountability Committee hearing on Wednesday where the House GOP was deciding whether or not he should be held in contempt of Congress for having defied a subpoena last month.

A source close to The Hill had stated that “no one” had notified the White House about Hunter Biden’s actions, and that the White House had not advised Hunter before the move. They further noted that it was unsurprising that White House officials were not aware of Hunter’s intention in advance, because as they argued while President Joe Biden and the first lady had a close relationship with their son, he does not ask the White House for advice.

A Democrat who is close to the White House claimed that Hunter Biden did not have a positive opinion of the public relations people that his father was surrounded by.

The Democrat proceeded to question whether anyone could blame Hunter Biden for not having taken communication advice from this group. They further pointed out that Biden’s press team has been handling Biden’s image during a time when his approval ratings are historically low.
