(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Former President Barack Obama was roasted for stating that a “divided media” was what kept him up at night. The comments came during Obama’s appearance on “CBS Mornings” and it was Obama’s response to the question about what kept him up at night.
Jesse Watters in her own show “Jesse Watters Primetime” claimed that Obama was starving for attention which was why he had made these comments.
During the CBS interview, Obama had spoken about how the divided conversation was right now and claimed that this is in part because of the divided media. He proceeded to state that when he was growing up there were only three available TV stations and that people were fairly good at discerning what was real and what was not. He added that today the splintered media appear to be occupying completely “different realities” with many people questioning whether things have occurred or stating that they did not believe something happened.
Watters slammed Obama for this response pointing out that the thing keeping him awake was “not China, fentanyl, or “dirty nukes.” She then stated that Obama was worried because he no longer had control of the media and American voters now had more access than before.
Former Trump counselor Kelly Anne Conway also slammed Obama for his response. She proceeded to state that in her opinion Obama was worried about his legacy because his vice President, Biden was now the President. She added that he is also worried about the fact that the person he chose as his running mate is something that they are now stuck with. She added that not even Obama can help lead Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris to success in the 2024 presidential election.
