(PartiallyPolitics.com) – Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene stated that the Capitol attack on January 6, 2021 had exposed who the Democrats actually were and that it was going to lead to them being destroyed.
Greene took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to respond to a clip that Alexandra Pelosi, a documentary filmmaker shared from her documentary The Insurrectionist Next Door. As Greece stated the Democrats were hoping that the January 6, Capitol attack would result in Americans turning away from former President Donald Trump. She added that now they were using it to try and destroy him.
Greene, who is a strong ally of the former President, argued that these attempts had been unsuccessful and that they would never succeed as the only thing they did was expose the Democrats for who they were. She added that this was ultimately going to destroy the Democrats.
On Sunday Pelosi’s documentary was released on HBO. The documentary filmmaker had been in the Capitol on the day of the Capitol attack as she had been gathering footage to be used in a documentary about her mother, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. As part of the documentary on the Capitol riot Pelosi also spent time with Trump’s supporters who had stormed the U.S. Capitol.
In one of the clips Capitol rioter Paul Hodgkins, who was sentenced to eight months in prison, refused to place the blame for the events on the former President. He specifically stated that he had just made a “poor decision” and that he was not going to put the blame on anyone else.
