(PartiallyPolitics.com) – An alleged whistleblower has claimed that the Biden administration is mishandling the Hunter Biden investigation, leading to a lot of criticism from both Twitter users and Republican figures.
In a recent Fox News report it was confirmed that attorney Mark D. Lytle in a letter called for his client, an IRS criminal supervisory agent, to be granted whistleblower privileges. He proceeds to write that the agent has previously made legally protected disclosures at the IRS which “contradict sworn testimony to Congress by a senior political appointee.”
In the letter, Lytle points out that he wants to ensure that his client is going to be able to “properly share his lawfully protected disclosures with congressional committees,” which is why he requested for the committees to collaborate with them for the information to be legally provided to them.
Social media users were quick to share the “major breaking news,” with many wondering what the consequences of the possible connection between Hunter and his father could be and whether mainstream media would choose to report on it.
Radio host Mark Simone stated that a whistleblower had exposed “a deep cover up in the Hunter Biden investigation and involvement of Merrick Garland in it,” he proceeded to point out that this revelation was not mentioned by Lester Holt during the evening news.
Former Homeland Security Under Director Michael D. Brown also wrote that “every civil servant” who possesses this sort of information should be given full protection under the law so that Congress can hear the information that they have to share and consider it in any of the investigations they are leading.
