If the media covered the story of an unwed drug addict giving birth to a baby in prison, they would have focused on the problem of drug addiction. Just this week, our local news media did a story about an unwed drug addict who gave birth to a baby while in prison, but the focus wasn’t on the problem of drug addiction. They reported it as a sob story for the addict who was ignored by jail personnel who believed she was screaming because she was going through withdrawal. The reporting made the addict look like a poor victim, instead of being the drug addict she is.
The same thing is true with the national media and many of today’s liberal politicians. During one of the recent Democratic presidential debates, one of the candidates said that the first thing she would do as president is unlocked all of the detention facilities that house children of undocumented immigrants. To begin with, they use the term ‘undocumented immigrants’ to play down the fact that every one of them is a CRIMINAL because they violated US federal immigration laws.
Secondly, illegal aliens and their kids or the kids they are traveling with, have been detained with the kids being separated from the adults. They did the same with during the administrations of Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, but it never was a problem then. It only became a problem when the same thing was happening under the administration of President Donald Trump, something that Democratic presidential candidates conveniently ignored.
I remember a time when politicians and the media would shun anyone who openly claimed to be a socialist and who pushed policies that were anti-American and anti-constitutional. Today, it seems that socialists like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are the darlings of liberal politics and the media.
For example, Ocasio-Cortez, commonly referred to as AOC, blasted the Holocaust and insulted Holocaust survivors, as well as many of the Jews in Israel. Yet, the media continues to praise and glorify AOC.
Recently, AOC visited a Border Patrol facility in El Paso, Texas. Instead of seeing the real problem of thousands of people trying to enter the US illegally, she screamed at federal law enforcement agents in a threatening manner. Many of us would have been arrested had we acted like AOC, yet the sewage stream media reports the story making the Border Patrol agents out to be the villains, instead of doing their job to protect America and the American people.
If you want to see just how far America has decayed, take a look at platform policies of the Democratic presidential candidates. Their policies include anti-First Amendment, anti-Second Amendment, anti-Fourth Amendment, anti-Fifth Amendment and anti-Tenth Amendment, as well as anti-Constitution. They are basically pushing policies that go against everything good about America and the things that made America the super-power and prosperous nation we ONCE were. The America today is NOTHING like the America that many of us remember.
The 2020 presidential campaign is a clear indication of just how far America has decayed over the past 50-years.
