Former Attorney General William Barr whose relationship with former President Trump has taken a downturn recently described an encounter with him in which Trump had called him a “f***ing loser”.
Barr described the meeting which came after the riots following George Floyd’s death. This was during his two-year tenure under the Trump administration. During the meeting, the President was calling Cabinet secretaries, military personnel DoD secretary, and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs that were present “f***ing losers” while screaming at the top of his lungs.

Barr recounted the events during his interview with Bari Weiss on her Honestly podcast.

Since leaving the White House, Barr has defended Trump’s policies but has also been candid about criticizing his personality. Barr resigned from his position as the No. 1 Justice Department official in December 2020 during the time that Trump and his allies had been alleging that the 2020 presidential election had been rigged.

Barr has insisted that there is no evidence to support the claims of voter fraud posed by Trump. He also recounted how Trump’s obsession with the 2020 election had led to tension during his final days at the White House.

For 2024, Barr has also said that he would be endorsing for the GOP the best potential candidate that is not Trump. A few of the potential candidates he mentioned were Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

So far, no one has announced a potential bid for 2024, while Trump has indicated that he has made up his mind about 2024.

Barr also criticized Democrats who have not yet apologized for the “Russiagate hoax” which is widely seen as a plot to win the 2016 election.
